Ontario businesses send an estimated 6.7 million tons of waste to landfills every year. A significant portion of that is organic waste — food scraps and compostable materials that could be diverted, processed, and returned to the earth as compost.
The Office Compost Program is Waterloo Region's answer to that challenge. Here's what our participating offices have achieved together:

✓ Waste processed through three streams: regional composting facility in Guelph, local neighbourhood garden compost, and Kitchener Clean's own Worm Farm
